Hello everyone! There have been some big changes this year. First off a big congratulations is in order to my main publisher Crimson Romance who was acquired as the new romance line for publishing giant Simon & Schuster Books! Yay! What does that mean for me? Well it means a wider audience and the chance to work with one of the best publishers in the world. What does that mean for you as readers and fans? More books and easier access, and... shhh, maybe so in person book signings near you!
Second of all you may have noticed my books published with small Canadian press BooksWeLove all suddenly disappeared Friday after my big interview with the Canadian Western Producer newspaper. The publisher was not happy that Simon & Schuster, as well as my horses stole the spotlight, I cannot control what the media prints unfortunately. In protest the small press was not mentioned BY NAME they have dropped me and my books from their roster. No worries, it was time to move on! Those books will all be back up, many in boxsets, with new covers for my readers, new and old, just hold tight as it is being worked on. I and my books are in NO WAY any longer affiliated with that publisher.
Thirdly, you are all probably wondering what the future holds. Well, more books of course I hope! I am working on a couple novels I hope you will all enjoy. These novels will hopefully have a home with Simon & Schuster/Crimson Romance. However, since my role with that publisher is as a historical romance author, not all of what I write will be suitable for them. Those genre titles will either be released by other large press or self published by yours truly, because, well, I want to keep ALL my readers and fans happy!
So please raise a glass in toast to Crimson Romance/Simon & Schuster, and to the coming year of surprises that I hope you will all enjoy.
Best wishes, and happy reading,
